The Nespresso D290 is one of the newest additions to the Nespresso D-Range of espresso machines and is available in polished chrome and red. A automatic function features 2 backlit controls that makes programming the desired amount of coffee as easy as possible. Users who like to enjoy cappuccino or cafe latte will certainly love the special automatic steam nozzle that ensures absolut perfect hot milk froth. An inbuilt electronic warning sound will indicate when the used capsul receptable is full and the machine cools down automatically 2 minutes after the steam function has been used or by pressing the steam button. The machine will automatically switch off in case the jaw is opened by mistake during the preparation of espresso. The temperature of your espresso, cappuccino or coffee will always be perfect due to the machines electronic temperature regulation.The large removable water tank has a capacity of 41oz. or 1.2 ltr. and ensures many uses before water can easily be refilled. The chrome-plated capsule holder with built-in filter ensures perfect fit for the coffee capsules, and the descaling alarm watches the right level of water hardness.

All Nespresso espresso machines are intended to be used exclusively with Nespresso capsules. Ground espresso and other brands of pods or capsules cannot be used to make espresso with these machines.
